I was also in college during 9/11. The kids I mentor now weren't even born then. They grew up in a post 9/11 world of terrorism and school shootings.

Got tears in my eyes at your remedies. Love, laugh, learn. It seems so simple.

I hope that we can help heal this new generation as we are healing ourselves.

I remember when the “Trenchcoat Mafia” became a *thing* in my high school. It was just after Columbine. It breaks my heart that we haven’t ended the violence and pain within our society. Protecting our youth from the fear of death while learning should be a top priority. If we can’t laugh and love while we learn, we don’t absorb the lessons being taught.

Thank you for reading my article and mentoring all generations

Remember to breathe, we got this! Sending you hugs and love.

individual or collective - the process is the same. We hold self - we hold space - we hold tension. This creates an environment in which pain, fear and injustice can be addressed through difficult and challenging conversations. A brilliant conversation today with @Dove Intuitive reminded me that the somatic is also something to be addressed. Breathwork, movement, perception and sensory integration are all a part of the process. By taking this whole(istic) approach we create an environment that nurtures connection, healing and growth. This is what we must continue to nurture. This is what we are doing here Barb. Big love. xx
